My name is David Bruce Martin. I am a certified personal trainer and wellness coach. I have been working in fitness for over 10 years, the last 6 as a Certified Fitness Pro. I grew up loving sports and being an athlete, playing on soccer teams, and running track. As an adult, I was less consistent with my own fitness, and as it so happens, I lost my way. I was engaged in poor health habits, such as smoking, eating lots of fast food, and became addicted to alcohol. I took a long, hard look at who I had become, and I didn’t like what I saw. I decided to get serious about my health, and it actually saved my life. This is why I am so passionate about fitness and wellness, and self-care and what it can accomplish in your life. You may not have the same problems as I did, but as I have discovered, fitness does so much more than help you look good in the mirror. It has changed my attitude about who I am and the possibilities of who I can be, and there are endless possibilities for me, and for you. My focus is to help adults in their 30s and beyond to achieve fitness goals that inspire them to live a great life. I focus not just on the physical results, but how fitness helps you in your mental health, emotional health, your mindset, your environment and your social domain. TruFit Studio is a team of experienced trainers and nutritionalists who help a diverse clientele achieve their various personal fitness goals. The vibe is very friendly, positive and supportive and I really enjoy my training sessions, which are tailored to my needs. My hip pain is now rare instead of almost constant.
