UPDATED JUNE 16, 2020
Hi there! The letter below still applies in that we are following not only the CDC and state of IL's rules and guidelines but have gone above and beyond them as well. Just as I say at the end of this post, please contact me with any questions or concerns. And if you are still not sure about training in person, please know we are still continuing to offer online options. Please read on. 5/20/20 Dear TruFit Community, As of right now, Evanston looks as though it will soon be moving into Phase 3 which means that TruFit Personal Training Studios will be able to re-open its doors and provide one-on-one personal training services. The TruFit trainers and I have spent the last two months not just settling into our new virtual business operations but imagining what personal training might look like going forward. As we inch closer to a day when we can once again open our doors to TruFit, I wanted to communicate to you the steps we will be taking to not only keep you safe but by extension the community around you. In accordance with IL state guidelines, the CDC, local government regulations, and taking all of the concerns you shared with us into consideration, TruFit will be requiring the following:
In order to fulfill the above and beyond, we will implement the following:
I know this may sound and feel overwhelming. I also know that some of these practices -- the wearing of masks, for example -- will not last forever. This is our very own Phase 1 and we will continue to adapt as the CDC and local government update us with numbers, always taking your own concerns into account. We know this is a very fluid situation that is subject to change. I also know that not everyone will be ready to come back right away and you should feel absolutely no pressure to do so. I want to thank you so very much for sticking with us. We would not even have the chance to reopen our doors without our community of trainers and clients and supporters. As always, please contact me with any concerns/questions/etc. You can reach me at [email protected] or at 312-497-8999. Wishing you continued health, Izzy
